Tottenham Hotspur are positive about getting Kim Min-jae signed, according to a report in South Korea on NaverSports.
Min-jae currently plays in China with Beijing Guoan, and has reportedly been identified as an ideal addition for Tottenham by Jose Mourinho.
Spurs are now in negotiations with Beijing over signing the defender and are said to be confident about completing a deal.
Tottenham and Beijing reportedly both are willing to do business at around the £15 million mark.
And Min-Jae could well be a Tottenham very shortly, as it is said that he will make his mind up on the move in the next 10 days.
If Tottenham were to sign Min-jae it would be a hugely intriguing signing, as he is so highly regarded in China, but completely unproven in Europe.
Min-jae has been the stand out defender in China’s Super League, but he would unquestionably be making a huge step up by joining Tottenham.
If Min-Jae was brought to Spurs, Jose Mourinho’s side would have the two biggest stars of South Korean football in their squad, with Heung-Min Son already involved, as the centre-back has been tipped for superstardom in his homeland.
